The Incomplete Love Story of a School Boy

  Neel the boy of a rural village in West Bengal. After completing his primary school he took admission in a High School. On the first day of school, he went with his Didi. It was a rainy day. The boy in school uniform walking with his Didi. After reaching the school his all uniform became dirty. While his Didi was cleaning him by using the water of the tube well. A cute girl also there whose uniform also dirty. She was laughing by seeing Neel in an ugly look, then Neel became very shy. He silent not a single word came out from his mouth. But the girl was still laughing loudly. Neel was watching the girl at a glance. He forgot what his Didi was asking him. The girl's smile fascinated him. There is magic in her smile. After a few minutes, his Didi also helped the girl to clean her uniform. The little girl gave thanks to Neel's Didi and run away from there. 

     Neel first time got an entry in his class. The new atmosphere of the class makes Neel uncomfortable. He seated on the last bench with some new unfamiliar students. They talked little among them. The teacher came into the class all students stand up and said good morning. After a few minutes, the Teacher suddenly called Neel by his name. By hearing his name Neel's heartbeat increased, he anyhow responded to the teacher and introduced himself. While introduced he again saw the same girl whose magic of smile fascinated him. Again he became silent and stand like a statue. The teacher asked him to sit down. That day the first class was the introduction day of the newcomer. All students introduced themselves one by one. Finally, the teacher wishes them a good day and went from the class.

   As a good student, Neel became popular in the school. All teachers loved him too much. He made many friends. The day was going amazing. The class was going on as usual. Gradually students became familiar with one another. They knew one another’s’ name. Some of them made strong friendships, as usually happen in the school. Neel had two best friends Uday and Habibul. Class 7 became popular in the school. This class made an outstanding performance in the school. But still, Neel never talked with the girl. Actually, he wanted to talk but he could not courage. After few days Annual exam knocks in the door. All were preparing seriously for the exam. They exchanged notes with one another. Neel was helping others. Now, the most interesting thing Neel called some of his classmates as Didi. They really treat him as their brother. All loved Neel. They were doing group discussion. This seriousness was going on in the last two weeks of March.

     On a Sunday of March when Neel was playing cricket near a roadside field suddenly a girl called Neel by his name. When Neel turned back he was surprised. It was none but the cutest classmates Soma. Neel could not speak any words again. He had run away from there. By the way when Neel came at home his Didi said him that his dad’s friend’s daughter Soma came at home for class notes. The first time Neel knew Soma is his father’s friend’s daughter. Neel’s mothers asked him, “You should provide notes to Soma”.
